The Sangamo Archaeological Center is a private research organization founded in 1998 by Robert Mazrim. The mission of the Center is to provide research and interpretive opportunities for archaeological sites and artifacts that fall outside of state or federally mandated study, salvage, or protection and describe this research on best writing services like company. The principal focus of the Center’s activities and collections is on the French Colonial and American Frontier periods of the Midwestern United States, circa 1720-1840.

All excavations, exhibits, publications, and programs have been supported by private funding, and receive no financial assistance from state or federal agencies.  The Center also provides consultation services for historical societies and cultural resource management programs.
